Hi my name is Pam and I have worked as an International Certified Lactation Consultant, as well as Maternal & Child Health Nurse since the 1990’s. In the past I have managed the Lactation Unit at a tertiary maternity hospital in Melbourne. I currently work in the Maternal & Child Health service. I also provide continuing education for health professionals and have presented at many conferences, both overseas and in Australia since 2000. I am a casual lecturer for Midwifery, Maternal & Child Health and Childcare students at RMIT, Deakin University and Holmesglen Tafe.

Hi my name is Heather and I am looking forward to helping you with your breastfeeding, as this can be one of the most challenges issues facing the new family.
I am a Midwife and Lactation Specialist, , having many year’s experience in lactation management in Australia and also in a number of resource poor countries, whilst a midwife manager with Medecins Sans Frontieres. I have held many senior hospital LC positions over the years and assisted a number of Australian hospitals to achieve Baby Friendly Health Initiative (BFHI) accreditation, a global accreditation for promoting, supporting and protecting breastfeeding in hospitals. I have also produced several breastfeeding education DVDs, which are sold worldwide and have contributed a chapter in a number of books over the years. I chair and present lactation and breastfeeding related papers at numerous conferences in Australia.
